Lead Full stack Engineer

Background
We’re building a platform to create implementable decarbonization roadmaps for any industrial value chain. These roadmaps allow our customers to transform their businesses into net-zero organizations. We’re a rapidly growing pre-seed company with a strong customer base.
We’re seeking an action-oriented engineer to accelerate feature deployment (and by extension emissions reductions) to these customers. Don’t know anything about decarbonization yet? That’s ok! If you’re a highly driven Full Stack engineer with 4-7 years of experience and give a $%@! about climate change that’s all you need.

Responsibilities
Lead our platform vision, pushing our technical boundaries to further accelerate decarbonization
Manipulate large volumes of primary sustainability data
Build advanced web-applications using Next.js
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and customer success to define and ship new features
Architect advanced database models to enable speed and scalability of overall platform
Requirements
At least 4-7 years of software development experience
Strong proficiency in web development technologies (e.g., JavaScript) and modern web frameworks particularly React and Next.js
Proficiency in server-side technologies such as gRPC, Node.js, FastAPI etc.
Familiarity with Python and machine learning is a plus, but not required
Self-starter with excellent problem solving skills and experience working in a scrappy, fast-paced environment
Track record of successfully leading cross-functional technical teams and projects
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Desire to learn anything and everything at the intersection of decarbonization and software development
